Job Site Manager
About Scuba Weed Control: Founded in 2014, Scuba Weed Control is a Minnesota-based, DNR-certified company that has been helping lakeshore owners in Minnesota and Wisconsin maintain weed-free water for the past decade. Unlike traditional companies that rely on harvesters or chemicals, we use a unique, eco-friendly method. Our certified scuba divers manually remove weeds by the root and dispose of them off-site, where the natural waste is repurposed as compost.
Position Overview: Scuba Weed Control is seeking a Job Site Manager to join our team for the 2025 season. As a Job Site Manager, you will work directly with the Owner and other employees to manage lake weed removal and pond maintenance projects for residential lakeshore owners, HOAs, and commercial clients across the Greater Twin Cities Metro area. You’ll be responsible for leading a team of 2-5 crew members, overseeing project operations, and managing company equipment in your assigned area.
This position is hands-on and requires a high level of physical fitness as the role involves manual labor, including weed removal and hauling.

Position Duration: Seasonal (May 1st – September 1st, 2025)
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Expected Hours: 30 – 50 hours per week
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage lake weed removal projects from start to finish

Train and supervise a crew of 2-5 individuals, ensuring quality and efficiency

Oversee equipment management, including refilling air tanks, driving a truck/trailer, and preparing gear for projects

Ensure safety protocols are followed on the job site

Complete regular project reports for company documentation

Maintain clear and frequent communication with the Owner and clients

Provide sales and customer support as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction
Qualifications:

Previous management or supervisory experience (direct or indirect)

Proven ability to lead by example and create a positive team environment

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Comfort in the water and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions

Physically able to lift 60+ pounds and perform manual labor

Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented

Customer service or sales experience is a plus

Must be able to work outside every day in various weather conditions

Crew Member

Unlike companies that use harvesters or chemicals to treat weeds, our unique method uses teams of certified scuba divers who pull weeds by the root and dispose of them off-site where the natural waste is repurposed as compost.
Scuba Weed Control is seeking a Dive Team Member that will train with and work alongside the company Owner, the Sales & Operations Manager, and other employees to complete lake weed removal and pond maintenance projects for private lakeshore owners and commercial organizations across the Twin Cities Metro and beyond. This is a hands-on position that requires a high physical fitness level as we are manually removing weeds and hauling them away.
This is an hourly position for the 2025 season ($18-26/hour), with additional bonus potential based on individual and company performance. This is a seasonal position that runs from approximately May 1st to September 1st. This position offers a flexible schedule, substantial starting pay and financial upside, the chance to work in a team-oriented environment with growth opportunities, and the opportunity to spend your summer working outside on the lakes!
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in removing invasive aquatic weeds from lakes and ponds.

Safely transport and dispose of weeds off-site for composting.

Help maintain and care for equipment.

Collaborate with the Owner, a Supervisor, and the team to complete weed removal projects.

Provide excellent customer service to clients.

Maintain safety standards on all job sites.

Qualifications:
